Brett Allard

Brett joined Wescott Law as an associate attorney in May of 2016 after graduating as a Daniel Webster Scholar from the University of New Hampshire School of Law. Brett clerked for the firm for over a year prior to joining as an attorney. He is licensed to practice in all New Hampshire State Courts, as well the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire.

A graduate of Plymouth State University, Brett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in social sciences, with concentrations in history and political science, and was recognized as a member of Pi Gamma Mu, an International Honor Society in social sciences.  Prior to practicing law, Brett worked as a business development representative for a Massachusetts company where he focused on business-to-business marketing of information technology software.

While attending law school, Brett served as an extern to the Honorable Charles S. Temple of the New Hampshire Superior Court.  He also worked as a legal intern with the Land Resources Management Bureau at the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services where he focused on shoreland and wetland protection and compliance matters.  Brett is also a Hoffman-Haas Fellow, a program of the New Hampshire Center for Non-Profits, and currently sits on the Board of the Belknap Mill Society.

Brett maintains a general practice, but focuses on residential and commercial real estate transactions, corporate and business representation, and land use matters, including development, planning, and zoning. While he primarily works from the Laconia office, he also sees clients in Meredith by appointment which may be arranged by emailing him directly or calling the firm’s main line at (603) 524-2166.
