Sarah Young

Attorney Sarah Young joined Wescott Law in December 2016, having previously practiced in White Plains, New York where she concentrated on insurance litigation including premises liability, class action products liability, employment law and personal injury.

A 2013 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Sarah previously graduated magna cum laude from the Honors College of Middle Tennessee State University. She is admitted to practice in the Courts of New Hampshire, Massachusetts and New York.

Sarah gained extensive experience through internships with several companies including Greater Boston Legal Services, the United States Attorney’s Office, Liberty Mutual and Innovative Business Law Group. During this time she assisted with Social Security and disability, health care, employment, personal injury, premises liability and workers’ compensation matters, as well as business formation for small and mid-size startups.

As a new resident of New Hampshire, Sarah is already becoming involved in the community. She currently serves as Treasurer of the Belknap County Bar Associationand is a Board Member for the Central NH Chamber of Commerce.

While offering general legal services, Sarah focuses her practice on workers’ compensation, personal injury, civil litigation and business formation matters. Working primarily from the Laconia office, Sarah also sees clients in the Meredith office by appointment, which may be arranged by emailing her directly or calling the firm’s main office at 524-2166.
