Central NH Chamber of Commerce Holds Ceremonial Ribbon Cutting for Wescott Law at New Office

PLYMOUTH, N.H., November 15, 2023 – Since 1927, Wescott Law in Laconia, New Hampshire, has provided sound counsel and practical solutions for clients in need of legal representation. As the firm approaches its 100th anniversary, its partners recently announced a new satellite office location at 11 Main Street in Plymouth. 

Wescott Law’s full-service legal team includes nine attorneys who live and work in the Lakes Region and Central New Hampshire. “We’ve had a long-standing desire to increase Wescott Law’s involvement with Plymouth and the surrounding areas,” noted Partner Sarah Rubury, a resident of Rumney. “Our goal is to help our neighbors navigate significant moments in their lives, whether it be starting a new business, addressing employee issues, buying or selling real estate, divorce, or other important events.”

Wescott Law was previously a tenant in Grafton Regional Development Corporation’s Enterprise Center at Plymouth (ECP), a 10,000-square-foot business incubator facility which opened in 2013 and is home to nearly 20 startups and businesses. The business incubator offers a platform of resources, including office space and support services for new and growing firms in Grafton County. 

“It was incredibly helpful to have an affordable office space as a first step in our long-term plans for expanding into the Plymouth region,” said Rubury. “The all-inclusive services with high-speed internet and conference rooms were exactly what we needed until we were ready to move to a more permanent location.”

The ribbon cutting ceremony, hosted by the Central New Hampshire Chamber of Commerce (CNHCC), was held outside the Wescott Law office at the south end of Main Street. The new location is also home to local attorney Brian W. Ray. 

CNHCC Executive Director Matty Leighton said, “The Chamber is thrilled to see Wescott Law expanding into the Plymouth market. As an ambassador for business and community connections in our region, celebrating our members’ progress with events such as ribbon cuttings is an important part of that work.”
