Kelley L. Stonebraker

Attorney Kelley L. Stonebraker joined Wescott Law in March 2022.  Kelley practices primarily in civil litigation, representing individuals and businesses in a range of matters including Labor and Employment law, Personal Injury, Civil Rights and Section1983 Litigation, Real Property disputes, and Landlord/Tenant disputes.  Kelley has experience advocating for clients in every branch of the New Hampshire court system, the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.

Kelley also practices transactional law, representing clients in commercial and residential real estate transactions, and advising individuals and businesses in employment policies, regulatory compliance, and contracts.

Prior to joining Wescott Law, Kelley practiced civil litigation at a large New Hampshire law firm.  Kelley represented clients at various stages of litigation and all levels of New Hampshire’s courts, as well as before the New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights and the New Hampshire Department of Employment Security.

Kelley earned her JD at the University of New Hampshire School of Law (now University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law) where she completed the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program.  While in law school, Kelley completed judicial internships at the New Hampshire Supreme Court and the Merrimack County Superior Court, competed with the UNH Law Advanced Trial Advocacy team, served as a teaching assistant and research assistant, and was a senior editor of the UNH law review.

As an undergraduate, Kelley was a student-athlete at Boston University, earning a bachelor’s degree in mass communication with a concentration in political science, and playing for Boston University’s Division I Women’s Ice Hockey team.

Kelley is admitted to practice law in New Hampshire and is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association.  Kelley grew up in the Lakes Region and is active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors at The Dewey School in Canterbury, New Hampshire and volunteering on local committees for Granite United Way. 

Outside the office, Kelley enjoys alpine and cross-country skiing, hiking, gardening, bird-watching, travelling, and spending time with her husband and two German shepherd dogs.
